International Youth AI Innovation & ESG Hackathon 2025–2026

On June 30, Ms. Wong Shu-yiu led three student teams to participate in the inaugural "International Youth AI Innovation & ESG Hackathon 2025–2026," organized by the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Financial Services and co-organized by The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Guided by the principle of "Tech for Good," the competition aimed to cultivate future leaders in AI and innovation while focusing on the integration of ESG sustainability and local technology innovation. The event brought together over 500 rising AI talent from across Hong Kong to compete in practical AI-driven workflow challenges.
Out of more than 50 participating schools, Ms. Wong was awarded the AI Outstanding Teacher Award. The first two teams under her guidance made it to the final presentation round with their projects "Seeker Vision" and "AI Planet”, achieving the impressive result of First Runner-Up in both Track G and Track S of the Secondary School Division. The third team, "Co-Learning Partner," was also awarded the Innovation Excellence Award in the preliminary round.
These awards represent high recognition for these outstanding young technology innovators and fully demonstrate our school's achievements in promoting STEAM education.
