Animal Welfare Volunteer Program
Date: 19/01/2026
The Moral and Civic Education Team recently organized a series of volunteer visits for our Secondary 2 students. Groups visited several local animal welfare organizations, including House of Joy & Mercy (Dogs and Cats Adoption Centres), Hong Kong Bunny Rescue, and Tolobunny, to provide essential hands-on service.
Our students fully immersed themselves in various tasks, such as cleaning enclosures, feeding, and socializing with the animals. Through these firsthand experiences, students learned the true meaning of responsibility and care for stray animals.
This program not only cultivated positive values—such as empathy and teamwork—but also strengthened their sense of civic duty, embodying the spirit of "Protecting Animals, Starting with Me." Inspired by the animals' needs, many students expressed a strong desire to continue participating in social services and contributing to the community.
