The Anti-Gambling Musical "Unexpected Time Travel"
Date: 03/10/2024
Common forms and instruments of gambling include lotteries, casino games, sports betting, dice games, and slot machines. If one becomes deeply involved, there is a risk of developing a gambling disorder, potentially leading to pathological gambling. In everyday life, students may also encounter games with gambling elements, such as capsule toy machines. How would you handle it if someone tempted you to gamble? If family or friends have a habitual gambling problem, how could you help them stay away from gambling?
Funded by the Ping Wo Fund and produced by Producer Works Theater, the musical "Unexpected Time Travel" guides students in exploring the dangers of gambling addiction. The performers sing and dance to help students understand how to resist the temptation of gambling while enjoying the pleasures of performing arts.
