Our school Marching Band was recently honored with an exclusive invitation to Beijing’s Shougang Park to record the "2026 National Children's Spring Festival Gala". As the sole representative from the Hong Kong and Macao regions, the band's performance was broadcasted on CCTV. To maximize this opportunity, the school organized a multifaceted study tour combining stage performance, technology, national education, and cultural exploration.
At the MAC Production Center’s professional XR studio, students delivered a flawless, gala-level performance. They then took their musical energy to the streets of Beijing, engaging locals through vibrant flash mob performances that earned widespread applause.
Beyond the stage, the trip served as an eye-opening, cross-disciplinary classroom. Students explored cutting-edge tech at the JD Logistics Intelligent Park and learned about environmental sustainability at the Xiaohongmen Water Reclamation Plant. For cultural and national education, they visited the Marco Polo Bridge, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the National Centre for the Performing Arts, experiencing China's rich heritage at the intersection of history and modernity.
This unforgettable journey allowed our students to shine on stage, marvel at innovation, and reflect on history—broadening their horizons and inspiring them to continue striving for excellence.
