Crossing the Starting Line, Illuminating the Path of Life

Mr. Wong Kwong Yiu, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wheelock Properties (Hong Kong) Limited, and a committee member of the "Project WeCan" Program Foundation, visited our school to share his experiences of growth, education, work, and insights into success with our students.
Growing up in a wooden house district, Mr. Wong began working at the age of fourteen to support his family. Driven by the spirit of the Lion Rock, he persevered through challenges to realize his career aspirations. With decades of experience in the business world, he has witnessed the fluctuations of Hong Kong's property market. He actively gives back to society and was awarded an Medal of Honour by the HKSAR Government in 2024, recognizing his years of dedicated contributions and achievements.
Mr. Wong’s personal journey exemplifies that starting from a disadvantaged position is not insurmountable. By maintaining faith, setting clear goals, and continually striving forward, one can achieve remarkable accomplishments. This spirit of resilience and determination inspires every student.
