The Human Library

Our school recently hosted the "Human Library" event, inviting a diverse group of professionals to act as "living books" for our S4 and S5 students. Guests from a wide range of industries—including Hospitality, Maritime, Radiotherapy, Performing Arts, Insurance & Immigration, Human Resources, and Professional Makeup—joined our students in the classroom for a series of heartfelt dialogues.
These "Human Books" shared their personal journeys, from their initial motivations for entering their fields to the daily challenges and rewards of their professions. Students gained practical advice on industry entry requirements and interview techniques, offering them a rare, close-up look at the realities of various careers.
The atmosphere was vibrant, with students engaging in lively Q&A sessions. This event not only broadened our students' career horizons but also planted the seeds of curiosity for their future paths, achieving a highly successful outcome.
