S5 Heung Ka Chung Honored with the "Sha Tin District Outstanding Youth Award"

Heung Ka Chung, a Secondary 5 student from our school, participated in the "15th Sha Tin District Outstanding Youth Selection" this past September. The prestigious event was sponsored by the Home Affairs Department and co-organized by the Sha Tin District Youth Development and Civic Education Committee, the Sha Tin District Youth Network, and the Hong Kong Joint Association of People with Physical Disabilities Jockey Club Sha Tin Integrated Service Centre for Children & Youth.

 

Throughout the rigorous four-month selection process, Heung demonstrated exceptional excellence and dedication. He actively engaged in over ten intensive development workshops and fully committed himself to planning and executing community service projects. Following multiple rounds of strict interviews and successive screenings, Heung successfully stood out from more than seventy outstanding candidates to win the "15th Sha Tin District Outstanding Youth Award." This honor is a resounding affirmation of his individual capabilities, and it brilliantly highlights his passion for community service, his proactive learning attitude, and his relentless spirit of self-improvement, serving as an inspiring role model for the entire student body.
